Joshua Taylor is the Director of Fifth Star Funds, a philanthropic venture fund focused on investing in underrepresented founders friends and family round. Joshua is also a venture partner at South Loop Ventures, a diversity focused generalist fund with an emphasis on sports, space, health, energy and fintech. He is also a co-founder of the Texas Black Founders Network. Prior to these roles Joshua was a senior associate at Capital Factory, a venture scout at Noemis Ventures and was a cofounder of a long distance riding marketplace that raised over 1 million dollars. He started his career as a middle market banker at Wells Fargo and was a Division 1 All American sprinter/ hurdler with academic honors at Stephen F. Austin State University.
